How to Sell Crafts Online and the best sites to do it.

1. Shopify

One of the best e-commerce sites since it is easy to build your new online business on this site. You get all the help needed to create a beautiful and successful website to promote your crafts. But because you are getting great service with good results on sales, you might understand there is a monthly fee for using Shopify which starts at $29.00 per month, plus a fee for each transaction done, which may be between 0.5% and 2.0%. The good news is that you can try Shopify on a free 14-day trial to know the website and see if this is the site you need to grow your business.

2. Etsy

Another popular site where to sell your craft with significant results since it is a global creative commerce platform with almost 30M of active buyers last year. This site might interest you if you do not want to pay a monthly fee. They only charge you $0.20 as a listing fee, plus a 3.5% fee for every sale you have made.

3.- Zibbet

Described itself as a marketplace powered by a global community of independent artists and crafters where people can buy the most amazing and unique products that cannot be found anywhere else. If I wanted to try one site to sell my handicraft, I would choose Zibbet since it seems very easy to set up your business online and without listing and transaction fees, only with a small monthly fee starting at $4.00.

4. Artfire

The site looks easy enough to use, and they have three different plans to sell your crafts. Standard plan with a $0.23 listing fee and a final valuation fee of 9%, which is high in my opinion. The second program called Popular shop for $20.00 per month and a 3% final valuation fee; it is an excellent option for all the tools they offer. And the third plan is called Features Shop with a monthly fee of $40.00 and the same final valuation fee as Popular Shop.

5.- ShopHandmade

If you are looking for a website where you do not have to pay a dime to sell your stuff, you found it! shop handmade is a 100% fee-free. It is very simple to sign up only filling a 5 minutes’ form, and that’s it, they will do the rest to promote your crafts on their website. And when I said 100% fee-free is because you keep all the money from your sales. It sounds perfect for me; you have to consider this site to sign up.

6.- Handmade by Amazon

This is a new store on Amazon.com where any artisan that wants to sell their handicraft with them will have to apply first and be approved. It is an excellent opportunity to grow your business with hundreds of millions of customers worldwide. Once you are accepted and invited to sell on their website, you will get the instructions by email on how to start working with them. What is the fee? No monthly fee but a 15% fee on each sale you have. It may sound a lot, but if you consider that the impact on your sales can be huge compared to other websites.

7.- iCraftgifts

This site is just for Handmade arts and crafts. Creations, like handmade jewelry, artwork, clothing, accessories, home décor among others. If you do not want to pay for listing fees and commissions on sales this website is for you. There’s only a monthly fee of $5.00.

It is a site of Eco-friendly and Handmade items for any artist or crafter that wants to promote their products for a low price. No listing fee and commissions on sales. There is a first payment to set up your store for $10.00, but they often have a promotion where you get it for a penny, after the set-up payment the monthly fee is only $5.00.

9.- eCrater

It is another 100% free e-commerce website bringing together buyers and sellers from all over the world. The 100% free website builder means there are no listings fees or monthly payments, but when you sell your products through their main marketplace, they will collect 2.9% marketplace cost. You can decide not paying anything and still sell your crafts, but the website won’t put your products on their marketplace where more people look for items.

10.- Bonanza
